One teaching situation where technology makes a huge improvement in teaching is keeping myself organized. By using technology, the teacher can stay much more organized by being able to keep track of grades, lessons, reports, appointments, and notes. This can be accomplished by using Outlook as a way to keep all your contacts/appointments/e-mails in the same place. The teacher can create folders for separate files based off of notes, reports, lesson plans, and grades and update all of this much easier than using a gradebook or lesson plan book. It is also much neater and readable if you have a sub who is not accustomed to your style of writing. In my opinion, technology makes all of these "teacher tasks" so much easier to manage.
